The beauty of Pilates is that it is for everybody and every body. We begin where you are and continue from there. Pilates is a comprehensive system of exercises that can be modified for anybody regardless of experience or strength level.

Again, Pilates is for everybody and everybody. Through consistent practice, you will gain both strength and flexibility in your body, especially in the muscles of the core and back.

As a beginner new to pilates it is suggested your practice is 1 to 2 days per week.

Like any form of exercise, you will be sore from using muscles that you are not used to using or are being used in a new or different way. You should not feel pain after a session, but soreness is not uncommon.

I pride myself on paying close attention to the form my clients have. Private sessions are available, but most sessions are 2 to 3 people max.

As with all exercise practice, Pilates is safe during pregnancy as long as you have been practicing prior to becoming pregnant. Modifications will be used as the pregnancy progresses. It is suggested that you have a conversation with your doctor to determine whether it is safe for you to continue while you are pregnant.
